Situated directly across from the shore of Loch Ryan, Cairnryan House Bed and Breakfast Guest House offers quality accommodation with uninterrupted views across the loch to Wig Bay, Corsewall Point and the Irish Sea, you won't find accommodation with a better view. We are just 400 metres from the Cairnryan ferry terminal which is close enough for convenience yet far enough away for peace and quiet, and we are  less than a five minute drive from the neighbouring Stranraer terminal. P&O ferry sailings from Cairnryan offer the shortest conventional crossing to Larne, in Northern Ireland, with the Stena HSS fast craft taking a similar length of time to sail to Belfast.

Within a short drive of Cairnryan are a number of beautiful gardens protected by the warm gulf stream that frequents the area, forest walks and nature reserves. A Royal Society for the Protection of Birds member we are just five minutes walk to the bird watching area at Cairn Point frequented by many seeking a view of the King Eider and other rare seabirds.

A period property, Cairnryan House was built in 1894. Formerly the local Manse, the house retains many of its original features.

Cairnryan House is licensed and there is off-road parking for up to ten vehicles. Guests are welcome to sit in our front garden with a drink, guest lounge which has a fire lit on colder days, or just relax in your room watching the ferries go by.

All of our rooms are non smoking, en-suite, centrally heated, with television, dressing table, hairdryer and a courtesy tea and coffee tray.

As you can see most rooms offer a superb view of the loch, only metres away. Our accommodation comprises one double room on the ground floor, with on the upper floor, three luxury double rooms, most with King size bed, 3 twin rooms, 2 family rooms sleeping 2 adults + 1 child over 13 or 3 adults, and 2 rooms for single occupancy. For more information on our rooms go to our Bedrooms page.
