Confirmation - Payment -  Cancellation & TERMS

Confirmation - In order that we can confirm your reservation, we will ask you to provide credit or debit card details to secure your room. These can be provided over the phone, by fax or, by email (in two separate emails for security). No money is taken from your card at the time of you making your reservation. Alternatively you can confirm your reservation in writing with a cheque drawn from a UK based bank account.

PAYING FOR YOUR ROOM ON DEPARTURE

We accept cash, cheque drawn from a UK based bank account or payment by any of the cards listed below. Please note if paying by credit card, a 2% charge will be added to your bill to cover additional banking charges.

Cancellations - made less than six nights prior to arrival will forfeit the cost of the first night of accommodation.

If guests fail to arrive without notification and you have booked for more than one night, then the full amount of the booking will become payable.

 In the event of cancellation or a no show, you may be able to recover all or part of these costs from your Travel/Holiday Insurance company. In booking you accept these cancellation terms and conditions.

Smoking - Please note that all rooms are strictly non-smoking. Any guests found smoking Any guests found smoking or where there is evidence of guests having smoked in a room during their stay will incur a GBP 25 charge. This will be applied to the credit or debit card used to make the reservation. If the guest is still residing, they will be asked to vacate the accommodation with no refund offered.

(ii) Smoking - Please note that all rooms are strictly non-smoking. Any guests found smoking or who the management believe have smoked in a room during their stay will incur a GBP 25 charge. This will be applied by Cairnryan House directly to the credit or debit card used to make the reservation. If the guest is still residing, they will be asked to vacate the accommodation with no refund offered.
